Juan Alberto Negroni (Bayamón, P.R., 1979)

Posee un MFA en Studio Arts de Southern Methodist University en Dallas TX, un MA Ed en Historia del Arte y Museología de Caribbean University PR y un BFA con concentración en Grabado de la Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico. Ha tenido siete exposiciones individuales en San Juan y varias ciudades de Estados Unidos; y ha participado en múltiples exhibiciones colectivas local e  internacionalmente. Recibió el premio Meadows Artistic Scholarship Award (2015) y la Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’art Dijon Residency Fellowship (2017) y The Talley Dunn Gallery Equity in the Arts Fellowship (2021). La obra de Negroni forma parte de colecciones de arte públicas y privadas en Puerto Rico, Reino Unido, Argentina, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Australia y Grecia. Su trabajo se presentó durante los Premios Obelisco 2020 del BCA (Business Council for the Arts, Dallas).

Holds an MFA in Studio Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas TX, an MA Ed in Art History and Museology from Caribbean University PR and a BFA with concentration in Printmaking from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de Puerto Rico (School of Fine Arts and Design of Puerto Rico). He has had seven solo exhibitions in San Juan and several cities in the United States; and has participated in multiple group exhibitions locally and internationally. He received the Meadows Artistic Scholarship Award (2015) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’art Dijon Residency Fellowship (2017) and The Talley Dunn Gallery Equity in the Arts Fellowship (2021). Negroni’s work is part of public and private art collections in Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, Argentina, United States, Canada, Australia and Greece. His work was presented during the 2020 Obelisk Awards of the BCA (Business Council for the Arts, Dallas).
