Boricua Rivera Batista

Pintor y muralista. Rivera cursó sus estudios en la Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de San Juan y en el Savannah College of Art and Design en Georgia donde concluyó sus estudios de maestría y doctorales. Aunque en algunas de sus obras incorpora elementos abstractos, su cuerpo de trabajos es narrativo y mayormente figurativo. Su obra, mayormente de gran formato, ha sido exhibida en Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos, y Japón. Además de su trabajo artístico, Rivera ha conservado los murales públicos que realizó su padre, Rafael Rivera García, en Puerto Rico.

Boricua Rivera Batista

Painter and muralist. Rivera studied at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de San Juan and at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia where he completed his master’s and doctoral studies. Although he incorporates abstract elements in some of his work, his body of work is narrative and mostly figurative. His work, mostly large format, has been exhibited in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Japan. In addition to his artwork, Rivera has preserved the public murals that his father, Rafael Rivera García, painted in Puerto Rico.
