Andrés Bueso Sanllehi (México, 1907 – 2000)
Pintor. Poeta del color y destacado artista puertorriqueño, de padre valenciano y madre catalana. Llega a Puerto Rico de muy joven donde cursó sus estudios primarios y se destacó en los deportes. Cultivó en su hijo Andrés Bueso Martínez, reconocido artista puertorriqueño, el ímpetu artístico. Su obra se ha expuesto colectiva e individualmente en el ámbito nacional y en 1977 Cambridge University en Inglaterra le otorgó el Men of Achievement Award. En su obra cultivó los temas clásicos, el paisaje costumbrista, el autorretrato y el bodegón.

Painter. Color poet and outstanding Puerto Rican artist, born to a Valencian father and a Catalan mother. He arrived in Puerto Rico at a very young age where he attended primary school and excelled in sports. He cultivated in his son Andres Bueso Martinez, a renowned Puerto Rican artist, the artistic impulse. His work has been exhibited collectively and individually at the national level and in 1977 Cambridge University in England awarded him the Men of Achievement Award. In his work he cultivated classical themes, genre landscapes, self-portraits and still lifes.
