Lizette Lugo (San Juan, PR, 1956)

Artista gráfica, dibujante y pintora. Estudia su Bachillerato en Artes Visuales en la Universidad del Sagrado Corazón en Santurce y en la Liga de Estudiantes de Arte de San Juan, donde se le otorga una beca de estudios. De 1994 a 1999 establece su propia galería, Sala de Arte, en el Viejo San Juan. Ha sido reconocida internacionalmente por su trabajo serigráfico. Ha exhibido individualmente en Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y Venezuela. Ha participado en muestras colectivas en Polonia, Noruega, España, Estados Unidos, Venezuela, Colombia, República Dominicana y Francia. Ha representado a Puerto Rico en bienales y trienales de grabado. Su obra se encuentra en numerosas colecciones públicas y privadas.

Graphic artist, draftswoman, and painter. She coursed undergraduate studies in Visual Arts at Sacred Heart University in Santurce and the Art Students’ League of San Juan, which she attended on a scholarship. From 1994 to 1999 she had her own gallery, Sala de Arte, in Old San Juan. She is internationally known for her work in serigraphy. She has held individual exhibitions in Puerto Rico, the United States, and Venezuela, and has also participated in collective exhibitions in Poland, Norway, Spain, the United States, Venezuela, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and France. She has represented Puerto Rico at engraving biennials and triennials. Her work is found in numerous public and private collections.
