Andrés Rodríguez Santos (1949 Yauco, PR)

Obtuvo su bachillerato en la Pontificia Universidad Católica y su maestría en el Pratt Institute de Nueva York. En su práctica artística combina técnicas y medios para lograr texturas y efectos muy característicos. Ha sido premiado por el Ateneo Puertorriqueño, la Revista Sin Nombre y la United Federal, entre otras instituciones y su obra ha sido exhibida en Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y República Dominicana.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica and his master’s degree from Pratt Institute in New York. In his artistic practice he combines techniques and media to achieve very characteristic textures and effects. He has received awards from the Ateneo Puertorriqueño, Sin Nombre Magazine and United Federal, among other institutions, and his work has been exhibited in Puerto Rico, the United States and the Dominican Republic.
